The first time I tried this place, I asked the employee at the front (the one with the red hair) what their specialty or best-selling item was. She replied, “We don’t have a specialty here.”

I clarified that I meant what customers usually order or what their most popular dishes are, but instead of answering, she just started reading the entire menu to me. At that point, I decided to leave.

I gave the place another chance on a different day when someone else was working the front, and I’m glad I did. The customer service was much better, and the food was actually pretty good. Not totally sure how this place landed on my list, but I love burrata so I had to check it out. Got there on a weekend right as they opened (a bit later than planned), so it was empty. We ordered the pesto pasta with added burrata and one of the paninis. It’s a tiny spot — a few seats inside and two tables outside.

The food was good, nothing exceptional, but a solid choice for a quick lunch — pasta, panini, or salad. Portion size was decent. One small note: there was a good amount of oil pooled at the bottom of my pasta — not surprising since pesto is naturally oily, just wanted to mention it.

Service was great and the staff was really nice. Price-wise it’s in line with LA prices these days. Keep in mind burrata is an add-on for pasta, so it’ll bump up the cost, but you can still get a solid pasta fix for under $20.

THE FOOD IS GIVING EVERYTHING
this is not a drill, the burrata is actually so fresh and creamy it should be illegal. the pasta is also top tier, no cap. everything tastes stupid good and it comes out so fast. a total slay for some easy italian.

THE WHOLE SITUATION
they have a few tables inside and a couple outside on the sidewalk. it's a vibe for a quick bite with one other person, but if your whole squad rolls up, it's gonna be a tight fit. very much a cozy, intimate setting.

THE PARKING SITCH IS ROUGH
let's be so for real, parking is a struggle. it's street parking only and you'll probably have to circle the block a few times. your best bet is to nab a rideshare or be prepared to walk a little. it's worth the hassle, though.

Got the burrata with the add-on bread for $11. It’s a solid, no-frills burrata, just salt, pepper, and clean, fresh flavor. Simple and tasty if you’re in the mood for a light snack. You do need to pay for water, do bring your own.

The classic sandwich with prosciutto and burrata was perfect. I was most impressed by the per perfect amount of olive oil that they put on the ciabatta bread.
